What: East Cocalico Township Board of Supervisors reorganization meeting, Jan. 6.

What happened: The board reappointed Lorenzo Bonura chair and assistant treasurer. He will also continue as police commissioner. Jeffrey Mitchell will again serve as vice chair and treasurer, while Daniel Burton will remain board secretary and assistant treasurer.

Administrative appointments: Tommy Ryan will again serve as township manager with Melody Stout as assistant manager. The two, respectively, will also serve as Right-to-Know and assistant Right-to-Know officers. They will also, respectively, act as zoning and assistant zoning officers.

Contractors: Technicon Enterprises will serve as assistant zoning officer as well as the township engineering firm and building codes officer. Rettew Associates was reappointed township traffic engineer. Land Studies was reappointed MS4 specialist for stormwater management. Nikolaus & Hohenadel will again be the township solicitor. Special counsel will be Summers Nagy Law Offices.

Police: Steven Savage will continue as police chief. Abraham Stick will remain public works director and Wendy Dettrey will continue as finance director.

Emergency management: Reamstown Fire Chief Scott Achey will serve as emergency management coordinator. Jason Oberholtzer, Stevens Fire Company chief, and Donny Stover, chief of the Smokestown Fire Company, will serve as assistants.

Volunteer appointments: Paul Keller was appointed to the vacancy board. Gerald Debalko and J. Bradford Fichthorn were appointed to the township authority. Scott Brubaker will again serve on the planning commission.

Next meeting: The board will meet again at 7 p.m. on Jan. 16 at the township offices.
