The rough roar of mower motors set the tone at the Ephrata Fair on Tuesday night, the first official night of the annual festival’s five-day run. Today, Senior Citizens’ Day, the fair opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. Events slated include livestock judging, carnival rides and a parade.
