Travis Kelce, star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, hasn’t made any official announcements about whether or not he’s retiring in 2025.

But his brother Jason has chimed in about whether or not the decision has already been made.

CBS Sports reports that Jason, who himself retired from the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024, made a recent appearance on “The Steam Room” podcast and talked about his brother.

“I think Travis — I think he probably, in his heart, already knows what he wants to do,” Kelce said on the podcast. “We’re very similar people, but we also have different ways of thinking about things.”

Jason Kelce said that “sometimes I can overanalyze situations, and any big decision I’m having in my life I’ll think about the negatives and what about this or that.”

In contrast, Jason said that Travis “has this way of being like, ‘Hey man, you want to play or you don’t want to play.’”

If the brothers are alike in how many years they’re hoping to play, that might be a sign Travis isn’t done quite yet.

CBS Sports reports that Jason Kelce retired after 14 years in the NFL, at the age of 36; should Travis Kelce return this year, it would be his 14th season, and he will turn 36 in October.

Jason also shared his thoughts recently about how Travis has matured in recent years, including during the time when the younger Kelce has been dating pop superstar Taylor Swift.
