The Lancaster-Lebanon League will be well-represented in the PFSCA East-West Big School football all-star game later this spring.

An even 10 senior players and three coaches — including the head coach for the East — will be participating.

Manheim Central skipper Dave Hahn will lead the East squad. Ephrata coach Kris Miller and new Elizabethtown coach Tom Gallagher will be assistants on Hahn’s staff.

Three players from Manheim Township, two players each from Lampeter-Strasburg and Conrad Weiser, two more players that call Berks County home, and another L-L all-star made the East roster.

Township’s haul includes offensive linemen Spencer McClintock and Owen Marks, plus linebacker Declan Clancy.

All three of those players were PA Football Writers All-State selections last fall. Marks was the Section 1 Offensive Lineman of the Year. Clancy, Township’s all-time leading rusher, was the Section 1 Offensive Back of the Year, and he was an all-star pick at linebacker.

Clancy also picked up a Mini Max Award, and he was the Lions Club Section 1 MVP.

Meanwhile, linebacker Emory Fluhr and long snapper Carson Zook will represent L-S, the reigning Class 4A state runner-up. They were both PFW All-State picks, and Fluhr was the Section 4 Linebacker of the Year.

Conrad Weiser QB Donovan Gingrich and specialist Alex Malone will represent the Scouts, who won the Section 3 championship this past season. Gingrich was the Outstanding Back of the Year and the Offensive Back of the Year in the section, and he picked up Lions Club Section 3 MVP honors.

Hahn will get to coach one of his top players, Barons’ linebacker Brodie Daugherty. Two more punishing offensive linemen, Twin Valley's Aris Drake and Reading's Keyshawn Efese, round out the L-L League selections. All three of those players were L-L all-star picks last fall.

Those 10 players will join the four L-L senior standouts who were named to the East team for the Small School game: Lancaster Catholic's Zach Dresch and Charlie Warren, Annville-Cleona's Jonathan Shay and Schuylkill Valley's Luke Spotts.

The games are set for Sunday, May 18, starting at noon at Cumberland Valley’s Chapman Field in Mechanicsburg.
