Shots were fired during an incident at a Lancaster County college campus on Sunday.

A spokesperson for Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology confirmed Sunday evening that it was aware of an incident that took place on the school’s main campus, at 750 E. King St. in downtown Lancaster.

“The College can confirm shots were fired on main campus. Current information we have is that the shots were not fired toward people or buildings,” according to a release sent out by the school around 7:30 p.m.

The release did not say what time the shooting occurred, how many shots were fired or where on campus the incident took place.

Pa. State Police (PSP), in a release that followed, said no one was injured and that the Lancaster Patrol Unit and Criminal Investigation Unit are currently on the scene investigating.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP’s Lancaster Station at 717-299-7650.
