When: Paradise Township Board of Supervisors reorganization and meeting, Jan. 6.
Reorganization: Dylan Coleman remains board chair, with Jason Myer continuing as vice chair. Adam Bills, Keith Landis and Bob Devonshire complete the five-person township board of supervisors. Brian Groff was appointed to the sewer authority.
Contracted professionals: The board voted to terminate Rettew Associates Inc. as township engineer, replacing the firm with Hanover Engineering Associates Inc. The board appointed Matthew Creme of Nikolaus & Hohenadel as township solicitor and planning commission attorney, replacing Susan Peiffer, who is now the sewer authority solicitor. Zoning board solicitor will be Julie Miller of Russell, Krafft & Gruber LLP.
Zoning board pay: Supervisors increased the fee for a zoning hearing from $500 to $750.
Meeting schedule: The board of supervisors will meet at 7 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month. At its next meeting on Jan. 21, the board may take action to set a 35-mph speed limit on South Kinzer Road, between Route 30 and Route 741, said David Thompson, township manager. Zoning hearings will be held on the third Thursday of each month.
