A teacher from School District of Lancaster left "Wheel of Fortune" nearly $60,000 richer.
Scott Aukamp, a second-grade teacher at Smith-Wade-El Elementary School, competed on Tuesday night's episode of "Wheel of Fortune," and won $59,250, with $40,000 coming from the bonus round.
Aukamp certainly isn't the first person from Lancaster County to appear on a game show. There have been several others over the years who have appeared on classics such as "Jeopardy!" and walked away with big winnings.
