Wingstop will be opening its first Lancaster County restaurant this summer in Manheim Township.
The chicken wing franchise will take an 1,800-square-foot space in Foxshire Plaza at 1957 Fruitville Pike, just north of Route 30. The restaurant will have seating for around 16 and offer carryout and delivery.
In addition to traditional and boneless chicken wings, the menu at Wingstop includes chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches and fries.
A spokesperson for Wingstop said the restaurant was slated to open sometime this summer. The spokesperson declined to name the franchisee for the Manheim Township location.
Based in Texas, Wingsttop has some 1,900 worldwide locations. The chain was founded in 1994 and began offering franchises in 1997. Wingstop went public in 2015 and now trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol WING.
